I want to get pregnant but my husband is not always around thus I don t have regular intercourse, but I do at least once a month. Few months a go I was on the same medication and the period came but thereafter it stopped i.e 4 months back.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome) is commonly causing infertility.
PCOS causes hormonal imbalance and this is the cause for infertility.
With proper hormone therapy, your infertility can be treated.
But you have to do Intercourse according to the timing of your ovulation.
Once a month Intercourse is unlikely to cause pregnancy. Better to consult gynecologist and get done frequent ultrasound examination of ovaries to know the timings of ovulation. You have to do Intercourse during these days to become pregnant.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
