Taking Minigynon 21 To Stop Heavy And Long Periods, Having Premenstrual Symptoms. Normal ?

I started taking minigynon 21 to stop the heavy and long periods I had while taking the depo provera but now I have started taking them full time. I did not want to have a period so after taking the last pill I just started a new pack without any breaks. Now I am having premenstrual symptoms i.e. lower abdominal cramps, breast tenderness, etc. Is this normal? Did I do a silly thing? Please advice.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The premenstrual symptoms can happen while taking the progesterone only pill. This is a normal finding. In case the heavy bleeding persists then you may have to consider taking a higher dose combination pill.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
