Swollen Where Stung By A Wasp, Getting Bigger Down Foot, Legs And Calf, Tingly And Itchy. Why ?

Yesterday afternoon I was stung by a wasp just above my ankle. We pulled out the stinger, and it swelled, seeming completely normal. Today I woke up and the swollen area was bigger than yesterday. After work I noticed it was swollen all the way down my foot, almost to my toes, and up my leg , about half way up my calf. It's tingly and very itchy. I'm worried that this isn't normal .

Hi, any sting will have a poison, which will be showing the histamin reaction, so there will be swelling , itching and pain. You need to attend the doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe citrizine, betamethasone, and ofloxacin for relief. I advise you to keep the foot raised while sleeping. Thank you.
