What Causes Painful Swelling In The Knees And Calf After An Injury?

Fell on bike last Sunday. Original pain was in knee and calf areas. Went to urgent care on Monday & orthopedic on Thursday. Knee is swollen and calf is very swollen and now yellow. Today pain is extremely worse in calf area, especially upon standing. Cant apply pressure or weight on it.

Here you have history of fall from bike ...
Knee swollen , so here ligament injury or menisci injury has to be searched for ....

Calf muscle swollen , so there could be severe muscular strain ...
If pressure in intramuscular compartement is increased than has to be released. ..

Knee MRI has to be done to rule out severity of injury ....

According to severity of injury further treatment decided ..

For few days at least you need to take rest ....
Ibuprofen tablet given to reduce inflammation ...
