Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The swelling and bruising that you have seem to be due to a soft tissue injury in the area. This is likely to improve in 2 weeks with adequate rest and mild pain killers.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
