My period has stopped halfway and I was wondering why? I m on the implant and pill, so I know there s an extremely thin chance that I could be pregnant. I do have regular unprotected sex with my boyfriend. Ever since I ve been on the pill my periods have been regular and never stopped halfway

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

We need to do a urine pregnancy test first to rule out pregnancy. After ruling out pregnancy, we need to take a pelvic scan. If the implant is in place, there is no need to worry much. Do a hemoglobin test to rule out other issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana Rajesh Babu, OB & GYN Specialist
