Suggested Removal Of Dark Spot In The Crease Of Upper/inner Leg, Mentioned Its Name As Something. Any Idea What It Could Be Called?

I recently went to the doctor to have an in grown hair removed from the inside of my groin/ leg area. While he was in this spot I asked him about this dark spot I have right in the crease of upper/inner leg and what it was. He said it was nothing to worry about and called it ____________________________ (can't remember). He asked me if I thought about having it removed and I said sure. WELL...I never went through with the procedure and now my life insurance company is challenging this remark he made in his report.

Do you know what this could be called?

Dear patient,

There are many probabilities to fill into that "blank spot": nevus, lentigo, seborrheic keratosis, etc would be the most common dark lesions, other than a melanoma. If there is any concern about malignancy, theese are removed and analyzed under the microspcope.
