Suggest Treatments For Itchy Skin And Recurrent Yeast Infection

Hello... Ok my symptoms are as follows: itchy skin mainly from waist up, recurring yeast infection, and am wondering if a decaying tooth can cause any of these symptoms? It seems that all started when the tooth fell out. I guess this is genetics as my mom s says. Can you please help?? Everybody seems to be puzzled and can t afford to get fixed at this time.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

You may be having ringworm infection..tinea corporis. It is a fungal infection caused by dermatophytes. There may be itchy round patches on the trunk. There may be genetic tendency to develop fungal infection. You consult dermatologist to have firm diagnosis. Antifungal like itroconazole or ketoconazole may be taken for few weeks. Apply antifungal cream like clotrimazole might improve the disease. Improve hygiene to prevent relapse. Immunodeficiency may be ruled out. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
