Suggest Treatment To Drain Ear
Hi there. I ve recently started having pain in my left ear. It started as a cold now I find myself waking up with blood leaking from the ear in the morning. The pain is tolerable but annoying. is there anything I can do to drain the ear? Also I m 10 weeks pregnant so I don t want to take antibiotics if I don t have to.

Hello,
You have to take water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use tablet cetrizine twice a day for five days.
If no improvement you may start antibiotics like tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days.
Above tablets can be taken during pregnancy. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
