Suggest Treatment For The Yeast Infection In The Vagina

I think I have a yeast infection. I made the mistake of using deoderized/scented pads and liners during my last cycle (which I never do). My skin became very irritated and I noticed an odor. I have not noticed discharge but used my fingers to check and there is some cottage cheese textured "fluid"... I've never had a yeast infection. I have ab pain, nausea, and dizziness. I feel weak and tired. I don't have insurance and I am unemployed. Can I treat this effectively at home to at least rule out a yeast infection if I must go to the doctor (also, I'm not sexually active since July 2008).
