i have had the stomach flu vomiting, diareaha for 8 days. it has been bad. i have been feeling better now for 2 days. i have been drinking alot of fluids but now my legs, ankles and feet are swollen. what could be the problem and what should i do about it

Your age is the major thing we need to know now.you need to get checked for you kidney function with blood urea and serum creatinine tests and urine routine tests.along with these your blood sugar levels are also need to be checked and also get checked your BP.regarding the measures you can take are- you keep you foot elevated while sitting by putting your feet on another chair kept in front.you have to reduce salt in your diet . for these you need to consult a qualified physician, who after seeing the results of investigations can suggest the line of treatment.have easily digested food like curd rice ,idly and fruits till your problems are found and treatment is done.
