Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

i have had a cold now for about 2 weeks, headache, body aches, earaches and sore throat. My throat is real red and I have been coughing up greenish/yellow mucous with some blood. Also, I blew my nose yesterday and there was alot of blood in it. My throat seems to be the worst. Do I need to go to the doctor?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
in my opinion this is bacterial pharyngitis. I would recommend to my patients that they should take a antibiotic course, painkillers, anti pyretic. and chlorhexidine gargles will help. avoid cold drinks and take hot bath and steam inhalation. if symptoms are severe you can visit emergency room and take injectable.
