Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

Hello I was playing hockey last night and was hit in the adams apple pretty hard by a stick. My throat is sore and and when i talk it sounds very scratcy. The pain is not bad it just feels like a sore throat. How long should I give this to heal itself before I go to a doctor? I've never had this happen so I am in uncharted waters!

Unless you dont have following symptoms laryngeal injury is uncomplicated. The symptoms are hoarse voice, breathing difficulty, neck swelling/pain.Difficulty in swallowing could be due to minor mucosal trauma to larynx, haematoma.I recommend you to consult ent doctor to have look inside your throat.Mean while take clear liquid diet and rest.
