Suggest Treatment For Severe Vertigo & Nausea

Recently I had problem with my balance, I had severe vertigo and was unable to walk unaded. I started vomiting and was helped to my bed. I saw a doctor who gave me an injection to stop the vomiting - he and I both thought is was an inner ear problem. After 3 days I was admitted to hospital due to dehydration caused by the vomiting. I was still very giddy and off balance which lasted about 5 days days. It took another week before I was steady on my feet. An MRI scan has since showed I had a blockage in the balance part of my brain. I have no last effects but would like to know more about the causes of stroke. I do not smoke and cholesteral is 5.4.I am not diabetic and blood pressure is normal but does became raised from time to time. My Mother was a stroke victim.

Dear
i am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering
Unfortunately most ofetn cause of atroke are those which you have rule out
So you need to expand your search
In my opinion you should schedule some blood test such as protein C, S, V factor (leyden), ANA, ANCA.
I could be more helpful if you provide me the MRI answer and some pernal information (age, enviromental factors, smoking, drinking etc)
Hope my answer will help you
Regards
I find this answer helpful
