Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Due To Dengenerative Scoliosis

My son is 28 had dengenerative disk, scoliosis, has a problem with his psoaf muscle, was told that the fattie tissue was pushing through the muscle and if it penetrates the muscle he will end up in wheel chair for the rest of his life. Was also told not a surgeon in Ohio will touch this because there is not enough information out there. within the last few days my son has had some severe pain and just stayed in bed need help looking for someone to help me.

Hello. Did he undergo an MRI for this or just a CT scan? You might need an opinion of an orthopedic spine surgeon or a neurosurgeon spine specialist who is experienced in treating scoliosis or complicated spinal disorders. For your son's comfort you might also want to check your local pain clinics so that at least he would be comfortable until you find the doctor he needs to treat his condition.

I really sorry for the condition of your son and I also appreciate your concern, I think that you are wrongly understood for the pathological event that explained to you, in fact the classification of disease is matters, there are numbers of management methods available for scoliosis, and that includes physiotherapy, using brace, try to keep busy(Physical Activity ), the over all prognosis is much satisfactory with the condition that it has to be managed, should never be left untreated, surgical management also gives good result if the case is qualified for this, I hope this information helps you, take care of your son, have nice day.
