Suggest Treatment For Painful Urination With Enlarged Prostate
I have pain in urination and after urine and blood tests dr,put me in CONTIFLOW-D since jan 2014.Urine tests show few bacteria.Even after taking medicene for more than 3 months there is no sign of pain receding.And also ultra sound done;nothing abnormalities except enlargement of porstate and that too after the operation of prostate in jan 2012. .My sugar was 114(fasting).Why pain is not getting alright after so much of medication and antibiotics.Pl advise .Should i need to be hospitalised.I am 66 years old.

Persistent pain in urination even after the course of antibiotics warrnats detailed evaluation like urine culture and sensitivity test and urethral swab culture if need be.
At times resistant microorganisms don't clear with a routine antibiotics so you may require a course of antibiotics again after culture and sensitivity reports.
If it comes to be clear than I would advise you to consult a urologist for advanced investigation like MRI or IVP procedure to find out underlying cause.
there could be a small stone which is troubling you.
