Suggest Treatment For Pain In Rectum After Passing Bowel Movements

For about 2 wks I've had pain deep inside just after I have a bowel movement, when I try to push more to see if I still need to go. There's no more pain after I get up. Only when I push at the end of the bowel movement. Occasionally, there's just tiny "pangs" of pain on my left side. I'm not constipated, nor do I have diareah.

Hello,

Pain during or after bowel movements, due to you may be suffering from fissure or fistulas or external hemorrhoids or tear in the anal fissure.

Eat a high fiber diet. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking. Regular exercise and drinking plenty of liquid. Use diltiazem gel locally if the pain is severe. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
