Suggest Treatment For Pain In Leg

52 yr. old female. 165 lbs. 5 2 . Had a doppler study on legs. Showed some interrupted blood flow in upper right leg. Showed hardly any flow in upper pelvis area of left leg. I do have more pain in left leg. One Dr. thinks I may need stents in both legs, but I haven t seen vascular surgeon yet. Just a little uneasy about appt. What are risks if I don t have anything done?

Hi,

You may lose your lower limb if any development of limb ischemia due to vascular obstruction. Hence, visit vascular surgeon urgently to assess the need of stent placement.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
