my son has nephrotic syndrome. since 06/09/2007. Omnacortil 20 mg is given and tapered to 2.5 mg in Jan 08 and relapsed so steroid dose is increased to 20mg in Feb-08 and again tapered to 0 in july 08 and Vermisol 225 mg is given to 1 yr.

it was again relapsed in July 2010, June 2012, Feb 13 and last in Dec 13.

Renal Biopsy is done for HPE , IF and EM

IF is negative while

MCD is detected in EM in renal biopsy on 2nd may 13 by Jaslok hospital

We went to Nadiad kidaney hospital and Dr. Rajapurkar (Head dept. of nephrology) said that Dr. Himanshu is doing right treatment. There were Dr. Goyal told me that all relaps happened after steroid withdrawal. So pt. may become steroid dependent. If you provide mail ID I will send medicine given till date and all the reports in a different sheets in excel file.

He is now 14 yr old. and

He is on Defcort 30mg per day from 9-January 14 as 24 hr urine protein is 7402 mg/day

After taking defcort within four days urine protein was nil.

But from 4-Feb-2014 it again appear four plus.

Today 24 hr Urine protein 2687 mg/day

S. Creatinin is 0.49 A/ G ratio is 1.39

Total protine is 6.8

HbsAg is negative CBC TFT S.Na++ S. Ca++ S. K+ are normal
