Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Dark Stool With Colitis

Hi, I was on prednisone, ciipro and flagyl antibiotics last month for a small flare-up of crohns/colitis. I now have nausea everyday, extremely bloated and now have very dark stool. Orignal flare-up was 5-6 wks ago, was on medication above for a few wks and now have these syptmoms.

Respected user, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
*Nausea is related to Gastritis underlying.
- avoid all oily / spicy / nonveg stuffs / beverages / excess ghee / cheese/
dairy products.
- combination of proton pump inhibitor with anti-emetic tab. mor & eve. 1
hr. before lunch & dinner for 5 days along with antacid syrup 4 times a day
- have small amount of foods at regular intervals.
- avoid smoking / alcohol if consuming.
- have more liquids , light diet including yoggurt, butter milk.
- for dark stool, suggest to get a stool microscopic examination to rule out
occult blood in it & further management.
