Suggest Treatment For Lower Pulse Rate With Ventricular Tachycardia

My son has ventricular tacchycardia and his pulse is getting lower this past hour with his blood pressure increasing. he s nauseated and cold and clammy. His metroprolol was increased 2 days ago from 50 mg once a daily to 50mg twice daily. His pulse is at 52 (normal is above 80 for him) and bp is at 104/69. How low can his pulse be before it s too low for him?
