Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Memory With History Of Heart Failure

I am 55, living with heart failure for over 15 years, receiving excellent cardiology care. I am an attorney, who has taken pride in an almost photographic memory since childhood. I am becoming quite forgetful, to the point that is interfering with my professional responsibilities & causing great frustration in communicating effectively. My sharp wit & tongue seem to be failing me. Could it be related to oxygen supply to brain due to heart? Low calcium, vitaminD & early onset of menopause -young 40 s.?

Hello,

Please know that heart failure / vitamin D, calcium or menopause does not cause memory loss. The signs and symptoms of heart failure are shortness of breath, swollen or edematous feet, difficulty climbing stairs etc. if you are having a problem with your memory id suggest you consult a neuro physician so that a brain imaging can be performed in case there is any underlying problem and treatment would be the next option.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
