Suggest Treatment For Lack Of Mouth Opening In Case Of Oral Carcinoma
Hello, I think you developed trismus. Trismus is a condition in which someone has difficulty opening their mouth. It can develop after surgery or radiation therapy. It is caused by soft tissue scarring or changes in the muscles around the jaw. You must do jaw exercises to prevent trismus. Please consult your physiotherapist/treating doctor they will examine and treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Penchila Prasad Kandikattu , Internal Medicine Specialist
