Suggest Treatment For Joint Pain In Knees

im a 19 year old male with painful joint pain mostly located in the knees that comes and goes every so often some times mostly a few times a week. when it happens it becomes so painful that becomes hard to stand up and becomes painful to walk for most of the day. the pain started about a year ago

Thanks for posting your query.
After going through your description, my advice would to find out the cause of multiple joint arthritis (poly arthritis) you may get following blood test for better control of pain- serum RA factor, ANA test,Anti CCP antibody test and serum uric acid.
Exercises like quadriceps strengthening, swimming; straight leg rising will help in improving the muscle strength around the knee and will help in decreasing pain.
