I am having severe throbbing pain in my head along with pain anf stiffness in my neck and right shoulder. i have been diagnosed with fibromylgia also for which i am taking medication. Kindly advise what should i do for high ESR.
Good evening mam. Well the high ESR along with pain in your head and stiffness in the neck and shoulders look highly suspicious for Polymyalgia Rheumatica/Giant cell Arteritis
It is an autoimmune condition which causes pain and stiffness in the shoulders and thighs along with early morning stiffness. The headache is a common association with it. Kindly read up on this disease and see if your symptoms fit into it. You can ask your physician to work you up for this possibility.
