Suggest Treatment For Heavy Blood Flow During Menstruation

My mother is 46years old and since 4 years she s having problems with her periods. The periods are very very heavy and they don t stop flowing. She took sevista tab in 2012 after her D & C and didn t get periods for 8 months The 2012 D & C report said the that the progesterone has stopped working. After that she was given a dosage of saheli 30mg twice a week. In between all these whenever she got periods she took TRAPIC MF thrice a day to stop those periods because they were so heavy that she couldn t even sit for 10 mins and had to go to washroom after every 10-15min Again on 12/10/2015 She underwent D & C because the blood flow was uncontrollable and TRAPIC MF has stopped working. The tab didn t stop the bleeding( had thrice a day for 5 days) D&C report said everything is normal. ( - secretory phase) Then she started having DEVRY tab from 12/11/2015 to 12/01/2016 Now she s got the periods again on 12/01/2016 and same way they re too too heavy and the flow is continuous, it doesn t stop. Please help My mother is growing weak now , it s been 6 days she s bleeding so heavily and TRAPIC MF is again not stopping the bleeding . Please help !!

Your moms HB% has to be checked and thyroid levels have to checked and she needs usg abdomen and pelvis to r/o fibroids in uterus because major reasons for heavy bleeding are hypothyroidism or anemia or fibroids . also her sugar and BP, TC,DC,ESR,BLEEDING TIME AND CLOTTING TIME also has to be checked. for these to be done better you take her to a qualified gynaecologist. she needs her harmone work also to be done.since she is already 46yrs and bleeding is heavy to the level of incapacitation keep an open mind for hysterectomy regarding which the treating gynaecologist can take the decision.because of this heavy bleeding ensure her with proper balanced diet and tell her to do meditation and yoga.
