Suggest Treatment For Fibroids And Heavy Bleeding Due To That

Hi, My name is Marcela. I am 45 years old. I the last year, I was suffering extremely heavy bleeding and with too much pain. Two years ago, I did my ultrasound and it showed 3 fibroids with 2cm each. Last year, my abdomen growth, like pregnant. the heavy and painful bleeding increase. I was anemic in the las 4 years, but this years was more. Last week they gave me iron infusion. The Dr. showed me that the fibroids have 5 cm each now. So she recommended me a laparoscopy.

Hi,
As i understand you have fibroids that are more that are 5 cm and have irregular bleeding. If the bleeding persist, the best choice is to remove the fibroid by laparoscopy. You are only 45 so, normally your menstrual cycle can persist until 50 years, and the fibroids can become even more bigger. Your Dr. has give you the right decision.
