Hi
Deranged liver enzymes are due to alcohol intake. Most likely he is having cirrhosis. An ultrasound should be done initially to rule out the stage of cirrhosis
Secondly your son appears to be depressed kindly consult a good pyschiatrist to put him on SSRI 's 's and benzodiazepenes for few month to counter depression.

ultra sound is the baseline test and should be done at the earliest.
please follow up with reports.Ultra sound wil reflect the grade pof fatty liver as well as the stage of cirrhosis.
