I appreciate your suggestions and I will bring up the ultrasound to my primary with whom I have an appointment on the 19th. However, the on-call doctor is handing me off to a gastro specialist for a probable colonoscopy. They are keeping me on the Imodium and no dairy for now. They say that the stool samples show no sign of any infection but that they have found small amounts of blood in a stool. They say they will work me in as soon as possible. That remains to be seen.
