Suggest Treatment For Diverticulitis
Hi, I was diagnised with Diverticulitis a month ago. I am feeling a lot better after the Cipro/ Flagyl regimen. I am taking Metyamucile and align on daily basis along with high fiber food and fruit. one of my friends recommended weed to calm my nerves down Im on Lexapro and Buspar now. Do u think that will help my diverticulitis?

Diverticulitis involves the infection of diverticula by bacteria or protozoa .so main treatment is Cipro and flagyl which you are on.
Lexapro and Buspar has no relatio to infection,But can help symptomatically.
So keep on taking the medicine you are on as metro is anti protozoal and cipro is anti bacterial.And they are the main treatment.
