Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea

I had some flu like symptoms a couple days ago (fever, body aches, chills) but for they most part they have subsided. What hasn't is the diarrhea. I have been pooping a lot lately (today probably around 10-12 times) and I have noticed it happens right after I have some water (at several different locations so I no it isn't from bad water). What is going on and what should I do?

Hello,
The most important management towards your diarrhea would be to keep yourself hydrated. If you don't have fever or abdominal pain with the diarrhea, empiric antibiotics are usually not advised. if you do, azithromycin or ciproflloxacin can be considered and may speedup recovery from diarrhea. Meanwhile culture and sensitivity of the stools should be done to confirm the pathogenic organism. Most such episodes of diarrhea resolve on their own, meanwhile hydration is the key.
Thanks for asking question on HCM. I hope the information helps.
