I have a cyst on my testicle and i have seen the dr and he said its not malignant. I do feel pain from this in that area and I have some lower back pain and pain behind the thighs is that pain associated with the cyst ? I also feel a little ill , can this cause an infection to make me feel sore and weak ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The cyst on the testicle can not cause the pains you have described.
The cyst you described can not be a cancer.
Local pain is also not possible unless there is associated infection of the epididymis or testis.
To confirm do or redo the ultrasonography with color doppler mode.
Lower back pain and and pain behind the thighs can be due to problem in the lower spine like seen in sciatica.
Get an opinion of an Orthopedic Surgeon and treatment as advised. If required go for the MRI of the spine.
