Suggest Treatment For Consumption Of Gynaecosid Tablets To Terminate Pregnancy
after having an unprotected sex i have missed four days of my periods. when i conducted pregnancy test today morning the result was positive. so, i took two gynaecosid tablets at a same time with hot water. now, i am very much worried about the consequences because i took the pills out of fear.
Gynaecosid is the brand name given by the manufacturer Efroze. The therapeutic ingredients are METHYLOESTRADIOL plus METHYLOESTRENOLONE. Tablet Methyloestrenolone 5mg, Methyloestradiol 0.3mg.
Gynaecosid causes a thinning of the lining of the uterus which would result in mild contractions and bleeding but not expulsion of foetus. Severe bleeding may occur if used incorrectly. Gynaecosid may be prescribed as a substitute for Levonogestrel emergency contraception (morning after pill).
Gynaecosid is used for the treatment of non-occurrence of menstrual periods in certain cases (secondary amenorrhea) NOT FOR ABORTIONS.
This drug will not be effective in causing abortions.
Hence contact with a gynecologist to terminate pregnancy.
All the best
