Suggest Treatment For Clusters Of Red And Itchy Pimples

I am suffering from sudden allergic attacks from June 2010. I have shown many dematologist (MD) and taking several medicines and steroids but not able to cure completely. Red patches comes on skin (on wrists, hands, legs, chest, back) with severe itching and when scratches, it becomes more red. Seems like blood has splashed inside the screen. I was not having any allergy symptoms before. It happened suddenly with some cluster of pimples like substance in the waist which used to itch. Now all parts of my body is filled up with small pimple like substance are are very itchy. If I treat it with cold/hot water, the itch reduces. Need immediate help for complete cure as it is hampering my work. On taking medicines, I feel like pain in chest area due to gas and it seems to pressurise from inside.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have clusters of red and itchy pimples all over body on wrists, hands, legs, chest, back which occurs occur when clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. I would suggest you to start with application of aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day as this is safe and natural extract of cereals. Avoid exposure to sunlight and keep areas clean and dry. Apply aloe vera gel to keep moist. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist once and get it examined. you an go for antibiotics ( clindamycin ) , corticosteroid ointment , hydroquinone , laser therapy and dermabrasion only after doctors prescription. Do not scratch pimples as they will get infected. Also drink 8-9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
