Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have chronic diarrhea. My GP diagnosed it as IBS which is not that helpful. I am a 58 year old, obese, woman and work full time as a primary school teacher. As I have gotten older I find that I have less and less control over my bowels and they seem to have a mind of their own, moving at the most embarrassing times. This is distressing. Iget bouts where my stomach area is painful especially after drinking. I often have to run to the toilet straight after eating. An iridologist once told me that I have too much yeast in my digestive tract. She told me not to eat sugars but not what I could eat. Anyway it seemed too much to deal with at the time so I did nothing about it. Could this be the cause of my problem and what can i do about it?
you may need complete investigation like stool examination, colonoscopy, ultrasound,CBP etc.. Avoid spicy food and alcohol, avoid caffeinated drinks.Use tab.normaxine twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care.
