Suggest Treatment For Bruising On Palms Of Hand With Hives On Wrist

Over the last couple of days I have had bruising show up on the palms of my hands. My hands are very itchy and sore and there are hives devolping on my wrists. I have not had any changes in my diet and I have not been in contact with anything out of the norm.

Hi.
As per your case history of urticaria, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors for 2 months.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 30 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral hydroxyzine, colchicine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
