Suggest Treatment For An Epididymal Cyst In Testicle

Hi I have been diagnosed with an Epididymal Cyst on my left testicle . No idea how it got there no std's no uti. At first a shrp pain but has in the last month been less so , rather dull not alway's there breifs seem to make it worse. The doctor sent me to have a sonogram have had a second a week after the first by another Hospital both said the same thing no cancer just a cyst. I was given cipro for eight day's which brought about no change. Two weeks later I came down with a fever no symtoms except some diarrhea , which I suspect was due to the stress. I was put back on cipro now on day 8 still no change though fever is gone. What to do next ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, if it is an epididymal cyst and is causing you problems then you can get it removed surgically. It usually does not cause any problems but if it starts causing problems then surgery is the only treatment. You can contact any Surgeon or Urologist for the same and it is a minor surgical procedure. Take care and feel free to ask any clarifications on the subject.
