Suggest Treatment For A Rash On The Hands And Behind The Ear
I spilled a large amount of pachouli essential oil on the back side of my left hand and rubbed it on the backside of my right hand and on my neck. about a week later i noticed a rash. since then, I notice a bruise like rash at the place where i had taken a tb test in the past and behind my left ear on my hairline it feels as though there is a tender spot on my hairline left ear area. I was given 25 mg of Atarax (Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride) by my Dr. for the rash
It looks like your skin is allergic to Pachouli oil. Take non-sedating antihistamines (Levocetirizine). You can continue anthrax as prescribed. But do not take both the antihistamines together. You can also apply 1% Hydrocortisone cream locally in the area affected. It effectively reduces itching, do not scratch.
It should get well, if it takes time get physically examined by a dermatologist & get treated.
