Hi,

Noted your short history about chronic cough for one month, antibiotics three times, had fever.
Long duration of coughing indicates the need as follows:
First of all consult a Doctor for proper actual examination of chest and ENT part to know the probable cause.
X-ray chest and confirmation by CT scan if required.
Relevant tests of blood.
Possibility of asthma hence PFT that is pulmonary function tests.
All these will give proper diagnosis allowing a specific treatment.
There may be need of bronchodilators and not of antibiotics.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
