Suggest Treatment For PCOS Condition

Hello,
37 years old and I have PCOS so I don't haveI am female regular periods, however when I do they are normal 3-5 days periods. I have one child and i have been trying for another for ten years with no luck, and i know for certain i am not pregnant now. Anyway, my query is that I have been spotting for 3 months now..non stop, it also happens when i cough, open my bowels. I have been to see my GP who thinks she can see a small Polyp. She has taken some swabs for infection which have all come back ok. I am still awaiting smear results and am awaiting an appoinment to see the Gyne. My concern is that i keep spotting alot each second of the day, but it is black? a few weeks ago I woke up and bled quite heavy so thought I was starting my period, but then is stopped straight away? ten years ago I did have laser treatment for pre-cancerous cells, all smears are up to date. I has a laparoscopy last year as my fertily nurse thought my uterus was attached to my womb - this proved negative. I am in good health and of a healthy weight. I have been suffering with bad indegestion lately and have had diarrhea on two occassions which i have never had - all urine and stools test negative. I am very concerned this could be cancer, and why am i spotting black blood? i do also get sharp pains up inside. Sorry for going on too much, it's just I am very concerned. Many thanks
