Suggest Treatment For ITB Syndrome And Baker S Cyst On Knee

I have been taking the anti-inflammatory medicine called mobic 7.5mg and I am having severe abdominal pain and pain in my back. I also feel sick like I am going to throw up. I am also constipated. Have not had a bowel movement since Friday. I have not taken the medicine since Friday February 7th. I have been taking the medicine for my knee as I have ITB syndrome and a Bakers cyst on the back of my knee after being evaluated by my orthopedic doctor and x-rays and an MRI. What do I need to do about this?

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Best exercises to reduce swelling due to bakers cyst-
Knee Bend to Straighten
Bend and straighten your knee as far as possible without increasing your pain. This helps to restore your normal knee movement. Repeat 20 times.
Static Quadriceps Contraction
Tighten the muscle at the front of your thigh (quadriceps) by pushing your knee down into a towel . Put your fingers on your inner quadriceps to feel the muscle tighten during contraction. Hold for 5 seconds and repeat 10 times as hard as possible without increasing your symptoms.
With good physiotherapy Backer's cyst can heal well. So regular do these exercises.Soft tissue massage and heat/cold therapy also works.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The reasons for the stomach pain could be the medicines you are using for knee pain, irritant foods,or peptic ulcer.
I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Also avoid untimely foods. Take green leafy vegetables,to cope with constipation.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods, till the knee pains are completely cleared.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
