Suggest Therapy For Depression And Alcohol Abuse

Hi, I'm 19 years old and have started to feel down a lot recently. I cry at random times, and it can be out of the blue and about nothing but it's frequent when I have drank alcohol. I tend to find a release of pain at this point, anything to stop how I feel, this has involved digging my hairs into my arms, neck and head, I have taken more than a few paracetamol, slit my wrists. It could just be stress of uni, or my age, either way I can't manage to tell anyone, I just laugh off the concerns of how I've started to act "differently" and clam up. What's wrong with me?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Generally alcohol abuse or substance abuse and depression comes hand in hand. They are acutely related. Your symptoms do suggest depression and manic episodes. You may need de-addiction therapy within a psychiatric facility. Consult a psychiatrist immediately.

Psychotherapy techniques should suit your requirement. If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
