Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
The symptoms that you are describing are likely to be discontinuation symptoms as a result of stopping Zoloft abruptly. It is not advisable to stop anti-depressant medication abruptly, especially when you are on a dose like 100mg.
Usually, these discontinuation symptoms can last for about 1 - 2 weeks, but there is a possibility that you could also develop rebound anxiety since you have previously taken the medication for a long period of time. If you do not wish to take Zoloft, there are many other effective anti-anxiety medication available. Please talk to your doctor about the various options available so that you can make an informed choice.
Wish you all the best.
Regards, Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar Consultant Psychiatrist
