Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Lips And Impetigo

My 9 year old son has just been diagnosed with Impetigo which is on his lips; his lips have swollen to such an extent he has difficulty talking and eating/drinking. He has been put on 250mg Flucloxacillin capsules 4x daily. Been told if it doesn t improve to take him to out of hours doc. over w/end. Reading various web-sites it doesn t seem to take such a short time to improve - should I not worry and take him next week to the GP as normal?a
