What Causes Vaginal Itching After Taking Hydrochlorothiazide?
I have been taking hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 MG for a few months now, and am having severe vaginal itching. Could the medicine be the cause? If so, if I stop taking it, will the itching stop, or might I need some other meds to clear it up? I am 56 years old and weigh 176 lbs. I have a family history of heart disease and hypertension. In addition to the hydrochlorothiazide, I take Metoprolol Succ ER 100 MG, Citalopram HBR 40 MG, Nexium DR 40 MG, and Pravastatin Sodium 20 MG. I have taken these last four drugs for many years. Thank you for any advice you might give me.
