Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Actaully, passing stools 3 to 4 time in a day could be normal one if you do not have any other symptoms such as abdomen pain, vomiting, fever or fatigue.
Blood stained stool needs to be confirmed because diet could be the cause that mimic the blood in stool. Try to change the diet. The ideal way to rule out the possibility of blood in stool is with testing.
Apart from this, if this is the protozoa infection but not confirmed, so it can be managed empirically with tablet Metronidazole. Consult your physician for prescription.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
