I have a 5.1 x 3.8 x 5.7 cm multiseptated cystic lesion arising from the left ovary or possibly three adjacent cysts abutting each other in the left ovary. My gynecologist scheduled for it removal within the week, because she says there is no point in waiting to repeat an ultrasound because it will not go away on its own. Is this true? Or should we wait. I am a healthy 51 year old, premenopausal.
