Suggest Remedy For Ear Infection

Hi...ive been suffering with an apparent inner ear infection as i went to gp to complain that i couldnt hear properly ..like one ear was under water...i was given anti biotics initially then given sudafed as apparently my discomfort in the ears and mouth is mucus related. Ive been battling this infection for nearly two weeks and right now my ear hurts my throat hurts to swallow ..and i dont know if its me but i constantly smell this disgusting murkey smell that i cant pin point with in my hpuse..now im assuming its related to my infection.

Welcome to HCM,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Iny opinion you are are having middle ear infection, where pus pouring out through perforation( whole) in ear drum. you also have co existent pharyngitis( sore throat).

you need to visit an ent surgeon for proper evaluation with otoscopy and definative treatment.

Mean time, do not allow water to go inside the effected ear, do salt water gargling.
