Suggest Methods To Correct Cord Around Fetal Neck During Pregnancy

my wife is in her 37th Week of pregnancy. Day before yesterday the Sonography revealed that there is a SINGLE LOOSE LOOP around baby's neck. I need to understand whether anything can be done to make this right. I mean some manner of sleeping, lying down or any other method.

Hi, I have gone through your question. A single loose loop of the cord around the neck of the fetus is not to be worried about. When there are fetal movements in the amniotic fluid, the cord entwined itself around the foetus. It generally does not corrects by itself in late third trimester, by any positional changes or any other method.
Usually this does not cause any problem in delivery, but sometimes can lead to non progress of labour, then caesarean section has to be done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
