Suggest Methods Of Abortion
hi. Myself and my spouse had an unprotected sex. Last 25 days back her next periods was on 10th of this month but on 14th of this month still she didn't had her periods. Is she an pregnent and if so how to avoid pregnency. Can anyone suggest me any medicine or a pill that avoids the pregnency as it is too late.

Understand your concern
First confirm the intrauterine pregnancy. Because medical termination of pregnancy should be done for intrauterine pregnancy of less than 9 week. So pre abortion USG and guidance of gynecologist is required for MTP. You should use gynecologist prescribed MTP pill under observation. Avoid home use as it cause failure of abortion and excessive bleeding like serious complication.
By procedure, 600 mg mifepristone should be followed by misoprostol 400 ug vaginally or orally after 24 hour. another 400 ug misoprostol after four hour under supervision of gynecologist. In some case extra dose of misoprostol may require. Post abortion USG after 14 days to confirm the incomplete abortion. Whole abortion process will complete in 3-5 days. (Moderate bleeding and pain will occur). Rest for 24-48 hour, healthy diet with iron supplements, maintenance pelvic hygiene, analgesic should be required after abortion.
